What do you do with Your Appliqué Kits?

We know that most of the appliqué kits purchased from Stitchin' by the Lake are stitched onto sweatshirts, but let's think outside the box - or sweatshirt! We've stitched appliqué kits onto button-up shirts - mostly used as a light jacket; throws - the fleece throws are a dime a dozen now and are a great thing to toss in your car for ballgames or picnics; aprons - these make great hostess or bridal shower gifts; tea towels - a cute adornment on a tea towel or you can turn the tea towel into a pillow or tote bag; denim jackets - these provide a large canvas for your appliqué; jumpers and skirts - again, another large canvas; loose fabric - many of our kits make great framed items and are easily changed out seasonally; decorative pillows - we can always find pillows in the clearance aisle at the local big stores; tote bags - canvas or denim totes are relatively cheap and make a great teacher gift; and more and more and more!! Enjoy and Create!

Nancy's Notions Catalog

We've had some wonderful luck with our Old Lighthouse Pattern #133p in the January 2007 Nancy's Notions catalog and we're at it again!! Our Basket of Blooms Pattern #164p, Baskets & Bees Pattern #123, Baskets of Blessings Pattern #124 and Crow -n- Friends Pattern #168 will be offered in Nancy's newest catalog! We hope everyone enjoys it as much as they enjoyed the Old Lighthouse! We're grateful to Nancy's Notions for carrying our products and hope see more Nancy's Notions / Stitchin' by the Lake collaborations in the future! Thanks Nancy!

Where We'll Be

November 3 we'll be at Warren High School in Vincent Ohio for the best craft show around!! The proceeds from the show benefit the Band Boosters at Warren High. This is a HUGE show! The school is laid out in six separate buildings and each building, along with each connecting hallway, is filled with craft vendors!
